Le bois du Chat est encore debout. Sur la commune de Tarnac, une trentaine de personnes ont reçu les bûcherons pour leur signifier leur opposition à la coupe rase de feuillus qui devait s’y réaliser. Ces derniers sont repartis sans histoires, sous les applaudissements.
Derrière cet exemple emblématique, c’est la révision du Schéma régional de gestion sylvicole de la Nouvelle Aquitaine qui est en jeu, et avec lui les incitations financières contradictoires liées aux zones Natura 2000 et au plan France relance.
