Dix mois après la première manifestation contre l’extension de FargesBois à Égletons, la Communauté de communes de Ventadour-Égletons-Monédières a voté la vente de 13 hectares de terres agricoles au géant de la filière. L’objectif : doubler la production et devenir la plus grande scierie de France. 40 à 50 personnes sont venues manifester leur soutien aux quelques membres du Conseil communautaire qui défendent un modèle sylvicole et économique durable.
