Ce court métrage de fiction, réalisé à partir d’images d’archives et d’interviews, raconte l’histoire du monastère du Jassoneix, vingt ans après qu’il ait ouvert ses portes à la population grandissante de Meymac. S’y développe une communauté grouillant d’activité : les quelques sœurs cisterciennes qui auparavant l’habitaient seules, y logent maintenant habitants et commerçants de Meymac. Elles écoulent ainsi les stocks de confitures qu’elles produisent chaque année.
Réalisé dans le cadre d’un atelier avec la Mission locale d’Ussel.
